The feature of this nest system is the simple ejection system with its gently ejection shutters. This nest is especially suitable for laying hens and broiler-breeders. We offer this nest system individual as a wall-nest or double-nest, depending on the conditions of the house as one or two tier nest-system. The production of the nest is from film coated waterproof plywood – a material offering comfort for the animals and providing equivalent advantages compared to plastic. Nests are equipped with astro-turf mats. Thanks to the grass-natured elastic lamellar structure only very few eggs are cracked. Freshly laid eggs gently roll on the mat into the middle of an egg-collection-channel. From there the eggs are moved with two wide-meshed and separate collecting belts into the anteromm for collecting them by hand of farmpackers. The Astroturf? mat needs minimum care and can be taken out for cleaning without any problems. It is possible to open the lid of the nest, so that the nest and the collection belts are visible. Another important aspect of the nest is the solid snap-on system. Consequently the nests are easy to assemble and conform the hygienic standards and requirements.
